The first crop with the ever-so sweet Gesha variety. This small lot is grown near his home at a high elevation of 2000masl. It was picked ripe and depulped the same day before a triple rinse before being transferred to patios to finish the drying process. You'll find flavor notes of cacao, floral jasmine and sweet spearmint.
When we heard Calle was harvesting Gesha this crop, we knew we needed it. He's a diligent farmer who puts love and care into his varieties and coffee cultivation. This is a small lot, yielding just a few bags. It won't be available for long!
Peru has some of the greatest coffee potential we've seen. Haubal is nestled into the mountainous region of Cajamarca. The Andes Mountains shape the area and provide unique growing conditions that are prime for coffee cultivation. We've been blown away by the quality of coffee coming from Cajamarca.
