Omar Cardenas has been growing coffee for over forty years. He owns over 11 hectares of coffee in Acevedo, Huila, Colombia. He and his family were some of the first to grow coffee in Acevedo and continue to support the community. His kids each have their own parcels and grow coffee as well. His son, Lisandro, helped create the Genesis coffee exporting group, representing small farms.
