Jaime Burbano is one of our favorite producers in the world. We were first introduced to him during the Los Naranjos coffee auction in San Agustin back in 2017. His coffee took third place at the auction. We've been visiting with Jaime and buying his coffee since then. His coffees embody the quintessential Colombian profile; chocolatey, balanced and smooth. He primarily produces washed processed coffee and uses an innovated conveyer powered by a motorcycle engine to transfer coffee cherries across the valley to his small mill.

The geographical complexity of Colombia makes it one of the most unique coffee producing countries in the world. Colombia was the first coffee origin that we visited. Now we travel around the world establishing relationships with coffee farmers.
