A beautifully floral, juicy Colombian Coffee. One of the favorites for the year, this Washed Gesha was made with love. Natalia Lezama and her family have been producing coffee in Acevedo, Huila for generations. Natalia is married to Lisandro Cardenas, another producer we purchase coffee from. This particular coffee is Washed, meaning the Gesha cherries are peeled from the seeds before they are washed and cleaned before being dried in direct sunlight. Washed Processed coffee is the typical processing method for coffees around the world, but this lot is unique in that the coffee variety, Gesha, adds quite a peachy and floral profile.
We also have a small lot of a Natural Processed Gesha from her as well!
All of our Colombian coffee comes from Huila. The department of Huila, Colombia is home to some of the best coffee in the world. We purchase from many areas within Huila.
