Our second year purchasing coffee from Mrs. Ramirez. She's a remarkable woman. All of her coffee is processed by hand on a steep hillside near Concepcion, Huehuetenango Guatemala. At the end of the road is a little village called Com, where Catarina grows her coffee. Com is a unique place, as it's so high up in elevation that the farmers have to walk down to their farms.
The road to Aldea Com is steep, winding and seemingly never ending. The road scales high up the mountains, overlooking the coffee farms across the valleys. When we reached the top, we immediately fell in love in with the small village of Com.
